Due to overwhelming response for Kelly's upcoming concert, there will be two shows

added on 2 and 3 January.

Kelly had earlier revealed that there will be a 'secret weapon' in her concert. It is non other than a chariot made out of gold and diamonds sponsored by 3-D Gold. The chariot is built based on the western royalties and composed of over 280 kg of gold and over a million pieces of diamond stones. The chariot was completed in 3 months with the work of over 80 people. The sponsors had also bought HK$60 million worth of insurance and engaged a security team to guard the chariot while it is in the coliseum.

Seeing the design of the grand chariot, Kelly had wished that it will be completed as soon as possible as she will be dressed as Cinderella singing while seated in it. The security will be much tighter to ensure that nothing will be stolen as a single wheel from the chariot will cost more than a few million dollars. 

Kelly had attended the Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World 2004 award presentations at Fukuoka yesterday. This year, Kelly is the only celebrity and the first female celebrity to win this honour. To share her happiness with her family and colleagues, Kelly had paid a six figure sum to invite them to join her in the award presentation.

For the event, Kelly had prepared six sets of dresses. The pink dress together with the 60 carat jewel stone necklace designed by her father made Kelly look extremely charming.

Kelly was one of the youngest winners of the award but there was an award winner who is only 21. Uponknowing this, Kelly was very surprised. One of the award winners from Japan had designed a limited edition sea lion soft toy costing US$3 000. Kelly loved it very much after seeing it and openly went up to ask for a discount of half price.

Initially, Kelly had wanted to give her thanking speech in Mandarin. However, for the sake of the audience coming from all over the world, she had instead used English. Kelly had mentioned that after her visit to the poor children in Mongolia and Qinghai, she had decided to set up a fund to build schools for them.

During her thanking speech, she could not control her tears when she thanked her family. After getting down the stage, she started crying again when she hugged her father. When she was receiving the interview by the TV station, she carried on crying. Her father also could not resist to tease her to be made of water. He carried on saying that they were the only ones crying.

Kelly's father had specially travelled to Japan to share her daughter's happiness on winning the award. He had spent two months to design her accessories. He is extremely happy and proud of her daughter's honour. As to whether his next wish will be to see her daughter get married, he admitted that he would hope that she could get married soon. He had already asked her several times. He laughed that he will design another accesory for her daughter's dowry when the time comes for her marriage.

Kelly was back yesterday in HK with her Ten Outstanding Young Persons of the World award. She immediately proceeded to the press conference held at the airport upon her arrival. With her were her manager as well as her nominator for the award, Doreen Leung Dor Ling. Over twenty fans had went up to Kelly and gave their flowers and presents. The interview by the reporters also attracted curious by-passers at the airport.

She talked about her father asking when she would get married again on the flight back to HK. Her answer was that there was no time as her work schedule was already full next year. She later smiled sweetly saying that she would talk over the phone every night with her boyfriend.

Kelly's boyfriend had not congratulated her on receiving the award but he had praised her for attaining such a major honour. Did her boyfriend take this opportunity to propose to her? Her immediate answer was no, but she carried on saying even if he did, she would also say he had not done so before giving a secret laugh. During her time in Japan, she had thought of looking around for hi-tech gadgets for her boyfriend but she did not have time to do so. She joked that she would let him have a touch of her award to make him envy. She hoped that this could urge him to be successful in the business world and she could nominate him as Outstanding Young Persons as well. However, he would have to be quick because the award is only open to those under 40. 

On Mark cancelling his trip to Fukuoka to watch the award presentation to take care of his sick mentor, James Wong, Kelly replied that at that time, Mark had told her that he was busy composing songs and was unable to attend the event. He could have told her this so as not to make her worry. She will call him later but Kelly was afraid that she would also cry when she hears him cry.

Kelly's wax figure at the Peak will also feature a new white gown to present the feel of Christmas to tourists.

Kelly, as the ambassador for the Asia Game Show 2004, was present for the opening event yesterday to meet the press. Although Kelly has been known to have a healthy lifestyle, she mentioned that 2-3 years ago, she was so engrossed in online games that she had played them continuously for 18 hours. In order to rise in levels for the game, she played it non stop even without having meals. Kelly felt that playing electronic games make people addicted easily. A good example is that a grown up person like her is unable to control her addiction to the games. The final result of this playing is getting black eye rims and back aches. As such, Kelly would persuade youngsters to play them only to reduce stress and not be engrossed.

Kelly has recently invested in a $20 000 big cotton candy look wig to be used for her concert. The wig will later be dyed with different colours. Her image consultant, Yee Chung Man, has specially got gold fabric from Japan, England and France to sew a princess gown for the Waltz dance segment. As to how much it costs, Kelly did not ask as she did not want to have a heart ache for the high price.

Kelly' was the invited guest for the opening ceremony of the display of the huge Doraemon balloon shipped in specially from Japan. 

Kelly's mood was extremely good and she frequently played with the Doraemon beside her. After the event, she immediately carried on with her rehearsal for the concert. She mentioned that she felt extremely tired for the 8 hour long dance rehearsals each day. To protect her legs, she had to wear knee guards. Also, she said that 80% of the tickets have been snapped up. Her boyfriend and brother will be attending her concert. As the last show is fully booked, she had to take back several tickets from her boyfriend. Her boyfriend will be present at all the shows except on the one at New Year's eve. Besides this, the third institution set up by Kelly's education fund will be ready in December. If she has the time, she will definitely pay a visit to the school.
